Next step: Action by Chattanooga City Council

Plan Chattanooga was adopted by the Chattanooga-Hamilton County Regional Planning Commission at their June meeting.

A public hearing on Plan Chattanooga is scheduled for the August 11 City Council meeting.  Plan Chattanooga will be on the agenda for adoption at the August 25th City Council meeting.  Both meetings start at 3:30 pm.

Do you care about the future of Chattanooga’s neighborhoods, housing, commercial areas, infrastructure, transportation, parks, facilities, and natural resources?

Plan Chattanooga is an ambitious effort to involve the community in creating plans for all areas of the city. This citywide plan and eight area plans will address many topics and include specific actions to make our city more prosperous and livable as it grows.
